Decisive and Progressive Leadership
Through Francis’ leadership and direction, JCI San Juan “Pinaglabanan”was named Most Outstanding JCI Local Organization not just in Metro Manila, but all throughout the Philippines as well. During his tenure, he was named the 2009 Most Outstanding JCI Local Organization President in Metro Manila and in the country. Francis was also the chairman of the Nacionalista Party in San Juan City.
Strength and Discipline
Francis’ experience as basketball athlete has made him mentally tough and disciplined as well. As the Team Captain for the De La Salle University Green Archers, he lead the team in winning back to back championships in 1998 and 1999, becoming the no. 1 Collegiate Basketball Team in the Country. He brought his winning ways in the PBL as well, becoming a 2-time champion playing for the Welcoat Paint from 1999-2000. He also demonstrated good character winning the PBL Sportsmanship Awardee in 2000. There is no doubt that he has brought his champion mentality in the walls of San Juan City Hall.
Beneath the strong and gregarious persona is the gentle heart of a champion not just for his own family but for the whole of San Juan. A dedicated husband and loving father to his wife of 15 years Keri and 4 children namely Amanda, Rocco, Nicolas and Noah.
